VARSITY WINS
STATE!
This has been an amazing year for these players who have
remained totally focus on making it to and winning the State Championship this
year. Congratulations to of the Warriors players and coaches who worked so
hard to make this dream a reality in 2009!!

MARTIN JV WINS CONFERENCE
FINALS!

Arlington Martin vs. (2) Mansfield
Winner: Arlington Martin 6-4
Arlington Martin JV wins a trip to the
Division Finals with Conference Championship win over rival Mansfield.
Led by their Captain and with an
outstanding team effort, Martin defeated Mansfield in a hard fought competition
one would expect of the #1 and #2 seeds. At the end of the first period the
teams were tied 1-1 on goals by Mark Brown with an assist by Chance Phillips for
Martin and Bryce Claxton with an assist from Timothy Skupien and Mike Mills for
Mansfield. In the second the teams continued the back and forth scoring ending
the period with Mansfield in the lead 4-3. During the second the scoring for
Martin was generated by Michael Brown with assists by Philip Janes and Mark
Brown and goals from Brandon Green, Bryce Claxton and Mike Mills assisted by
Timothy Skupien, Matt Minnion, and Don Leach for Mansfield. It was in the in the
third that Martin turned on the heat by scoring 3 unanswered goals to take the
lead for good. The goals by Mark Brown and Michael Brown assisted by Connor
Gamblin, Adrian Hinojosa and Philip Janes assured Martin a victory in this hard
fought Championship game.
Martin's next opponent will be Garland,
Thursday, April 16th at the Star Center in Farmers Branch, so come
and cheer on your Warriors!

2008/2009 Season Information
Congratulations to all of our
2008/2009 Warriors! This has been a great season with League,
Tournament and State Championship successes. We look forward
to the short summer break and then hitting the 2009/2010 season
running this summer.
Tryouts for the 2009/2010 season will
be in late July or early August, so please check back for additional
details.
High School games begin sometime in October
and end hopefully with a run for state in April. Varsity plays
on Thurday nights and JV plays on Sunday late afternoon and
evenings.
Typically our teams practice at the
Parks Mall on Mondays (individual teams) and on Wednesday (combined
teams) beginning in August.
Our Warrior teams will be
participating in the Texas Star High School Hockey Fall Festival
Tournament that is held in September.
